All of my pieces are handmade and unique. While they may have similarities with other items of the same type, no two are exactly alike. They are made with care just for you.
Lux Crystal Info
The lux crystal colors are dynamic and change with the light around them. Each one has two main colors - one that is reflected and one that is transmitted. When you see a crystal's color in the shop, it's describing the two main colors (reflected/transmitted). My Instagram account (@blob_blobber) has videos of them in action so you can see their dynamism. They often reflect a spectrum of colors as they shift in the light.
The colors I typically have available are listed here (Reflected Color/Transmitted Color):
- Fire Shift (Red/Orange/Blue)
- Mint Shift (Mint Green/Magenta)
- Moon Shift (Purple/Yellow/Blue)
- Sea Shift (Teal/Pink)
- Royal Shift (Gold/Blue)
- Lavender Shift (Lavendar/Light Green)
- Potion Shift (Emerald Green/Violet)
- Ember (Deep Red/Light Blue) - slightly transparent and flashes like there's fire inside!
- Rose Gold (Peachy/Orange/Blue)
- Bloom (Silver Pink/Emerald Green)
- Lapis (Dark Blue/Light Blue/Yellow)
- Starlight (Silver/Blue/ Deep Crimson)
Caring for your Lux Crystal
The finish on the crystals is soft translucent, which makes them shimmer and gives them their magical glow. If at any time your crystal loses some of its shimmer, if you rub it with clean fingers its shine will come back. If you need to clean it, use a mild dish detergent and dry it with a soft cloth. Be careful to choose a soft cloth that won't scratch the surface. A very small amount of natural essential oil buffed into the surface will brighten it back to a full shine.
Caring for Silver
All of the silver in my jewelry items is sterling silver like most silver found at a fine jeweler. Clean the silver with silver polish or a silver polish cloth.
Expect 3-5 business days for your order to leave the studio. I ship my work with the US Postal Service and most goes from Philadelphia, PA via First Class (about 3 days). Larger packages ship Priority Mail (about 2-3 days). The shipping prices vary by item and is selected when you checkout. Once we drop your package with USPS, the time it takes to arrive is dependent on the volume that the USPS is dealing with. During holiday season, shipping may take longer than usual. We provide you with a tracking number when the item ships so you can track its travels.
I pack as carefully as I can, but if an item is damaged during shipping contact me and I'll see what I can do to help.
Express Priority Mail (about 1-2 days) is available by request within the continental US, just let us know in the comments that you would like that option. We will arrange payment with you separately. For everything smaller than the Large Lux Crystal, Express Priority Mail costs $25. For the larger Items, we will price it for you based on the weight and distance from Philly.
Please be patient as shipping outside of the US can take time. Your order must pass through customs and may be subject to additional import taxes. We preemptively pay for them before we ship them out if possible.
As of July 1st, 2021, additional import tax fees may still apply depending on your country. The EU requires an additional import tax (VAT) which for orders typically more expensive that what we offer. Each EU country has its own import tax rates. If you are required to pay these fees to recieve your item, we will not be held liable for them.
Custom or Wholesale Orders
If you are interested in a custom piece or a wholesale order, fill out a contact form on this site, or send me an email at email@example.com. Give me about 3 days to review your request to consider feasibility and price, do any research I need to do and I will get back to you.
Refunds can be given before the order has been shipped out of the studio.
Once orders have left the studio, you will only receive a refund (minus original shipping cost) once all items are returned and checked. Return fees are to be paid for by the customer.
If the order was incorrectly fulfilled, email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will email you a return label. Nobody's perfect! :)
